Google Maps on the iPhone is a brilliant piece of software, but it isn't without shortcomings. One of them is its inhability to tap into a user's saved maps
"My Maps", which are available on the web version on google maps.
To access to your personal google maps (marked as
public) on the iPhone, follow the instructions on the left
"All your public maps" box. To access a specific map (inluding
unlisted ones), follow the instructions on the right
"Individual map" box.

For easy access: send yourself this link by mail, check your mail on your iPhone. Then, in Mobile Safari, add a bookmark or to home screen!
Known limitations: Only simple markers are supported, no area, lines, nor custom markers. Description support is limited.
